Ms. Miller,
God bless you for your generosity. You have no idea how much we appreciate your
kindness. I will always remember you in my prayers. Thank you for helping me and
my fellow soldiers during this time of the year. God bless you and have a happy
new year.
THANK YOU !!

Ms. Garland,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your gracious gift. My son Bryan was wounded 10-23-05. He is a triple amputee. He is recovering very well at Walter Reed.
It is people like you that give me back faith in mankind — so “Thank you” very much.
Take Care,
Janet

Dear Ms. Schoolfield,
I was approached today by a LTC S. He made clear that his neighbor wanted to give
to the wounded soldiers. I was lucky enough to be one of those soldiers. I am very
thankful for your gift. As the letter read in the envelope I do agree that you are a very
kind and grateful woman.
I am a 22-year-old female that was injured the 21st of January 2006. I lost part of my
right leg below the knee. All the bones in my left leg were broken all below the knee
including my knee and bones in my foot, ankle and heal. They are healing fine and
rather fast. I have what they call a Halo fixator on my left leg holding all my bones
together with pins.
My father and I have just recently moved into an apartment. With me being up here
for more than a year, it was a good idea to find a comfortable place to live. With your
gracious gift it will help us with our transition of moving here. My hometown is Camden,
South Carolina. This is quite a change from the small country town I am from.
I would love to hear from you. Again, thank you so much for your precious gift.
With hugs and love,
Crystal
